VINYL SIDING: I pulled off all old siding-it rained last night-can I still side my house today or will it mold

Question:underneath. I am installing 1/2 in. green guard foam board and house wrap. I need to know if the wood and insulation board still on the house with being moist to touch need to dry out first. Please advise as I need to get the siding on soon as we here in North Central Missouri are expecting more rain for the next couple days. I don't want to keep the exterior wood exposed for very long. I wouldn't have pulled off all the old siding but there WAS only a 20% chance of rain when we started.

Answers:
Fully dry before continue. May take a couple of days.

All of the materials you describe at termed permeable, that means they allow water vapor to pass through them so water does not become trapped in the wall and cause problems so proceeding should not cause you problems as long as things are not dripping wet.
Side it. The materials are made to work under these conditions.
