Does anyone know how to make throw pillows?
Question:For my apartment I would rather make the pillows than purchase them, so that they are all the same shades while I save money. I want to make the "candy shaped" pillows, shaped a bit like a wrapped Tootsie roll. Does anyone know how to make these? If you know how to make any other kind of throw, that would be helpful too. Thanks!

If you know how to sew at all, it's easy. Just take a rectangle
of fabric, turn the long ends right sides together, and sew a
seam. Then hem each end, this makes a tube that's open
on each end. Insert a bolster-shaped pillow insert (from the
fabric or craft store) then gather up each end and tie with
a ribbon. you can also make any other shape you want,
squares and rectangles are easiest. There are also very
easy patterns in the fabric stores too.
make a little hold enough for your hand to reach inside after you sew the pattern so you can stuff the pillow with foams or cottons or down feathers
You need 2 of the same length of material in whatever shape you want it. They must have an extra strip on all four sides of it.
Turn the extra bits on the edges 1cm in and sew the two pieces of material together on 3 sides of the material leaving one side open.
Then put in your filling through the open bit- foam or whatever you have to fill it and then either sew it up or put buttons down that side.
Thats it i guess.
Cut the shape out of material twice. Make it a bit bigger than the end size. Turn both pieces outside in and sew the seams together. Leave a couple of inches un sewn.
Turn the pillow inside out, leaving the good side of the material outside. Stuff it with foam pieces through the opening you left. Sew the opening closed and there you have it!
Make two square, or round pieces of material!, saw it with the good side of the material, on the inside, fill with feathers or what ever you prefer, Saw last little opening by hand, and
