You can get complete diy shed kits from lumber yards like 84 lumber. Visiting your local lumber yard and looking at these would be a good start.

well u have not mentioned all the information regarding ur need.but well depends upon ur requirment to store ur equipment u can built it but remember the storage shed must be larger than the original requirement.
I bought a "kit" at menards, for a 12x16" Gambrel barn. Instructions included. I'd do it differently now. But if gave us a couple hundred square feet of storage.

Do you really expect a complete step by step?
It really depends on the size/ type of shed you want. There is a book at home depot called "Sheds". (Imaginative name, don't you think?) It will walk you through all of the steps. Good luck with that.
