Instead of granite how about, small rocks not sure what they called, for my driveway?

Hi, what you want is called ,"Cobbles" or "Cobblestone". Cobblestones are used more for decorative purposes than for practical paving. Cobbles ,in particular ,are uncomfortable to walk on and ,although a firmly consolidated area is fine for vehicles ,walking on a Cobblestone pathway can be annoying. I think they look awesome though! The small pea sized rocks are called 'River Rock'. That's what I have and also used it for my stepping stones up to the front door.

Before you do that, check with someone who has the stuff - to keep it looking nice takes some effort with weeds and borders. Also. mowing the grass can get to be hazardous if you don't keep the stone where it belongs.

you can use pea gravel. also check with one of the u-haul rock and gravel places, they have samples usually out front so you can look at it before you buy, they will also deliver.
