Restaining old deck?

Question:I am looking at staing my deck and was wondering what the best way to go about it is. Sprayer or brush? I havea very large deck and hasn't had anything done with it in about 6 years. I have pressure washed now just waiting to hear what the best way to go about staining would be.

Answers:
I have used both a brush and a roller, the roller is much faster, are you using a latex stain or oil based stain? I have used both and I think I like the oil based better as it absorbs into the wood better and isn't prone to peeling or scratching off..
If you decide to use a roller be sure to get one of the extended handles that attaches to the roller handle, beats getting down on the hands and knees you will get enough of that if you have any trim work to do. Good Luck.

Use a brush. It will go by quickly. Washing is the worst part.
Brushing does the best job of working the stain into the wood grain.
