Can you dye the material on a stroller?
Question:Someone is giving me stroller but it has some sun damage. I'm thinking I could fix it up. Its a Cosco Eddie Bauer edition green and tan all terrain stadium double stroller. It looks like this one

I was thinking I could dye it a dark color like a darker green then it is. I really don't care about a print just want it to look decent. Think it could work?

Alot of this type of material has been treated so as to prevent stains and make it easy to clean. Unfortunately this usually make it impossible to dye as it is made to resist liquids. If when you put water on it though, it soaks into the material, it may just work. Natural fibers will dye the best, most others(polyester, nylon etc.) probably wont take the color very well at all. You can use a dye that bonds itself to the fabric which would probably be your best bet. Look up Grateful Dyes in your search engine.
