What is the best weather sealant to use on redwood pickets, in the Houston, TX area?

Question:I'm looking for a sealant that will last, for a very long time, like 3 to 4 years!

Answers:
You are on a neverending quest then. The standard for sealer times is 1 year, 2 at best. You have to reseal every so often to make up for deterioration due to sun, wind, and rain.

Behr makes some sealers that hold a 10 year warranty on fences ( 5 yr on decks). Buy them @ Home Depot.
