Why is the hot tap in the b//room always full of air?

Question:every time it is switched on water splashes everywhrer

Answers:
It will be because it is at the end of the system.

Radiators also have that problem too. I don't think there is anything that can be done to reduce the problem.

probably have a pin hole in the supply line. (Water out, air in)The longer it sets the more air you get?
theres a lot of people like that also.
you have to think if you shake a soda can before opening what happens, well the same think is happening with your faucet now depending on the age of your plumbing there could be a small pinhole leak, allthough that is unlikely if there is no water leaking, try turning off the valve under the sink then open the faucet, see it it spurts, kind of like releasing air, then with the faucet on slow, slowly begin to open the valve under the sink and keep it on till the air pumps out good luck
You are getting air in your system. Try opening your water lines for awhile say 5 min. close them off. Then reopen them after about an hour or two see if you still have air in the system. if you still have air then, I would say you have an open line some where. Try your pump area first.
Two things. Is your boiler at the right pressure, if it is then your tap must be faulty inasmuch as the anti splash device is missing.
It could be as simple as adding a aerator to the end of your faucet if that has been removed, or you may have your water heater turned up so high it's boiling the water. You can call a plumber and they will easily diagnose your problem, they can also install a circulating pump on you hot water line to maintain an even pressure and temperature though out the line.Good Luck
The air in the line comes from expansion and pressure developed from heating water. This expansion is taken up through out your entire plumbing system. Air migrates from the water as the pressure goes down. Now you have air in the system.
Your hot water is too hot, or does not have sufficient place to expand. If that doesn't work get an expansion tank for your hot water heater.
you have a flow problem or the bar in your place is not high enough causing water to drain off up stairs when you use a tap down stairs. is your hot water cylinder down stairs,
hot water thermostat maybe set too high
I think the problem is not in the tap , it's in the cold water valve of the water heater , it may leaks water backwards , so it leaves some empty spaces in the heater , which are filled with steam which generates pressure and that makes the air that you find when you switch the tap , and to solve this problem , you should replace this valve , it's not expansive at all , and it's easy to be fixed by yourself .
Sounds like you have an air leak in the pipe work. Or possibly the header tank to the central heating is set low.
