Here is a site for a French Ribbon bulletin board. I've made them before and they're not very difficult and look really nice. Good luck
I can give you directions...
Get a piece of ply wood in the size you want, you can also use a foam poster board.
Find fabric you want and also get batting ( cotton/poly fluff) to put in between the fabric and board.
cut your batting and fabric an extra 3 inches on all sides bigger than the board.
spray board with a spray adhesive then put the batting down then that fabric over that.
Flip the board over and pull the fabric tightly over the edges, using a staple gun or tacks secure the fabric to the back of the board.
Line up your ribbon where you want it criss cross or straight down or across. where the ribbon intersects the other piece put a tack in (the flat thumb tacks are best). secure the ribbon to the back of the board the same way you did the fabric.
