How do I began to build a deck that is attached to my mobile home?

Question:

Answers:
The two other answers are correct about making it a floating deck. Don't attach the deck to the house. The house will likely float or move more than the home if you build the deck correctly. Space the posts no more than 8' apart and you definitely need a post at each corner. For the base dig 8" diameter holes, 48" deep. Put an 8" sonotube in the hole so that it is 6" above ground level (54" long) and fill it with cement. Put a post bracket on top of the concrete and mount your 4X4 post to it. Frame your deck using minimum 2X8" material on 16" centers. Install deck boards on top of the 2X8" deck joists.

don't attach it to the mobile home build the deck on 6 or 8 support posts concreted at least 4 feet into the ground, its called a floating deck then if needed you can pull the Mobil home out of there without destroying the deck
don't attach it to the trailer build it on piers that way the frost will not damage the trailer it will float need to check your local code s so you know how deep to go with your piers they mite have a special way they want it done and when you do the rail you have to make it so the blasters are close so no children can go through it
