How do u fix cat claw pricks/ tiny tears on a leather couch?
Question:A friend told me to use leather conditioner. What do you think?
Answers:
THEY MAKE LEATHER REPAIR KITS AT WALMART AND AUTO SALES SHOPS
A tear is a tear & I don't think anything will fix it, unless you use a leather repair kit, if there is such a thing.
If they are actual holes I don't think conditioner alone is gonna solve your problem. If you go to just about any local auto parts store ask an employee for a leather seat repair kit. The kit is meant for car leather interior but it will work the same on house furniture. I'd suggest also getting "claw caps" for your cats. You can get them through www.softpaws.com. It's an inexpensive and humane way to solve cat scratching problems.
i aint sure where to get it,, but there is stuff called liquid leather and you brush it on and let it dry and good as new,, maybe home depot, or lowes
Consider the 'liquid leather' repair kit (NOT the one seen on TV, but rather a brand you know like Simoniz - if you can't find one local to you, visit www.jordansautoaccessories.com... WARNING: The process of patching a leather tear takes PATIENCE, so follow the directions on the kit thoroughly and closely, and your scratches should disappear. Good luck!
