PLaStIc PrObLeMs?
Question:I want to surprise my dad this father's day with what my friends and I call a 'liquid card'. How do you seal a plastic with water in it ? Without the fancy machines. Please help me. And thanks in advance.
Answers:
Silicone is the best choice bar none
Certainly answer number one has a valid suggestion, but it might benefit you and us to know the substance of the plastic you're talking about, IE: Plexi sheet/Vinyl soft sheet, etc.
I recall those "machines" tagged "seal a meal" etc, so popular just before "Zip Lock Baggies" also became popular.
If in fact you wanted to use plexi, you could purchase what is like "Super Glue" that actually bonds the plexi to itself in a process similar to it melting against another piece,,, so often used in crafting plexi show case boxes, etc.
For you the process might be more than what you want to engage in,,, pretty much like two same size pieces of plexi, separated by the same thickness, only in narrow border strips, all put together with the "Super Glue" chemical,,,creating a very narrow depth in a sealed BOX type card.
