Swamp cooler not cooling, just humidfying. help ?

Question:its 80 degrees out. i have the swamp cooler going on low. for some reason its not cooling and its just make it evne more humid (* ugh !! ) its in the kitchen on wheels it supposed to cool a 600 sq foot area which should cover my apartment. i have a small window open for air flow into the cooler ( its the only window in the ktichen, which is where it hsa to be in case it leaks ) also there is one window on the other side of apartment open half wya. what to do? help im dying!

I'm sorry, I can't answer your question, but I do feel your pain. I live in FL and the AC is broken. The guy is here to install a new one, but it's not working...it's 86 and I am melting. May your cooler and my AC work very soon...
