How do you level a ceiling fan that has a light attachment?

Question:The fan is only 3-4 months old and it "clicks" every time a blade makes a complete revolution. Could the click be in the light attch. or do you think it is in the housing? I can't isolate the click's location.

Answers:
i tape a penny to the end of one of the blades it usually works.. sometimes it takes two or three tries to find which blade is off balance

The fan should hang on a swivel, which it turn self levels itself
take it apart and put it back together, won't take you long. My money is on a loose screw having fallen into the housing, but I dunno for sure.

You'll find the problem if you take it apart and put it back up. Whatever the problem is, thats what you'd need to do to fix it anyway.
Got to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a balancing kit. (they are cheap, and most people will know what you are talking about) they usually eliminate fan noise. Also make sure that everything is tightly secured to the ceiling.
yes make sure there is a swivel and make sure the screws holding it to the ceiling are tight. also check every screw to be sure there not loose. good luck
you don't , it will seek it's perpendicular orientation as it hangs, if it wobbles, it is usually loose blades , so tighten all the attaching hardware.
