I am assuming that you are using 2x4 forms. Just cut the boards 12' 3" x 10 feet. Nail the 12'3" over the end of the 10s. Set it approxamately square. Take a long tape measure..20 footer and measure each diagonal. Move the form in or out diagonally until the measurements are exact.
The diagonal number should be aprox 16 feet on the outside of the form.
12 x 10 could cover quite a few bodies. Make sure it's deep enough.
call the ready mix plant, they will till you what you need to know.
It is 120 square feet times the dept in feet 6" would be .5.
concrete used would be just over 2 cubic yards. Don't forget mesh and rebar!
To square and area, use any combination of 3-4-5, one leg 3 ft, the other leg 4ft and the hypotenuse would be 5ft. or 6ft-8ft and 10ft. any combination works.
For a size you mentioned, 10ftx12ft, the hypotenuse would be 15ft 7-7/16".
stake out the area and then string it. Could use a lg. framing square to ensure right angle. When you have stakes at 10 and 12 ft. then measure your diagonals.this will tell you if square or skewed..moving the stake while holding tape will get you perfect. Then you can form, prepare bed and pour with confidence.
Try DIY website Im preety sure they would have something on there. Good luck!
Calculate the diagonal which is the square root of the square of the two sides [(10x10) + (12x12)=100+144=244 then the square root is 15.62049935]. That will be close enough to in metres 15m 62cm or lineal feet15' 71/4". Measure out both diagonals to get it square.

Simply measure corner to corner, diagonally. As if you are making an x. These measurments should be identical. Concrete is, How long, in feet X How wide, in feet X Thickness in inches, Divided by 324. This is exact, so add just a little for obvious reasons.
