Making a table/ stand for next to my barbaque- need help/ ideas?

Question:I was thinking of using cinder blocks and making it 'a pretty top and useable top area by making a mosaic out of broken up tile. Can I do this easily. Would I have to cement the cinder blocks together and is that hard? Would Home Depor or lowes be the best places to get my supplies. I live in alabama.

that will work , it just sounds like it will be an expensive table. They sell tables already built for that purpose with shelves that would be a fraction of that cost.
