Cleaning off paint-cleaner?

Question:I spilled some acrylic paint on my deck and tried to get it off with water, then rubbing alcohol, and then finnally an acrylic paint remover. The remover left dark patches on my wooden deck and the paint still shows. Im hoping that rain will clear it off, but can I try something else?

Try sanding off the dark patch and re-varnish or repaint the wood deck to match the original finish.
