How do I paint glazed block on my foundation?

Question:

Answers:
Theres a product by Binzer called Coverstain, Its a primer that dries quickly, Its oil base so throw away brushes and rollers are a must! One coat and then 2 finishes coats of a Quality Exterior soft gloss paint (Benjamin Moore Mooreguard) and youl'll ave a long lasting finish..

There are special primers that will help your paint adhere to the block. Go to your local paint store and tell them what you want to paint and they should be able to tell you if they carry a suitable primer. Be prepared for sticker shock though - the stuff is expensive (2-3 times the cost of regular primer).
