School carnival?
Question:Anyone have some good ideas for home made carnival games?
Answers:
1) I made a cheap (< $20) spin art booth... used a box fan on its back, screwed a few layers of round cardboard onto the blades, and hinges on one side of the front the grille.
With the fan turned off, use push pins to attach blank paper to the cardboard. Close the grille. Use cheap squirt bottles of water based paint (thick is good) for the kids to squeeze through the grate while the fan is spinning and VIOLA!
Be careful, it can be addictive. I finally went whole hog and built a big enough rig to hold t-shirts.
2) Ring toss on the two-liter soda bottles is always a hit. You can cut the rings out of the rims of 4" plastic plates.
3) The girls are all recommending a fish booth.
long stick with string holding clothes pin. Little bags of candy/prizes.
The kids cast their line over/into a big box, where the hidden volunteer attaches the prize baggy and tugs on the string.
Bright colors and a volunteer that knows how to have fun, and there will be a line for this one.
Best of luck.
Gambling is a sure money maker... any card game will do.
