Definately a fisher who hunts whales...we were recenlty in Bequia and the whalers / fishers there harpooned a whale. hauled it to the whaling station and halted swimming in the waters as they were red with blood for 3 days.

Well, outside of the name of a Burger King sandwich, it is an occupation. Whalers are the guys, who hunt and kill whales. Although outlawed by many of the worlds countries, this form of harvesting is still practiced by some. They take the whales for their blubber and bone, but most of the uses for these items can now be done synthetically.
