use 17976 "capfulls" of bleach :), seriously though if you're using Liquid clorox bleach, one gallon will treat about 3,800 gallons of water, so you'd need about 4.7 gallons, mix it well and let sit for 30 minutes or so before drinking it

For every 10 gallons you need 1 teaspoon
One medicine dropper, one drop per gal. Or, 1/4 cup to 5 gal. All according who to believe. Druggists sell the medicine dropper. I use 1 drop per gal while camping, let set for 30 minutes before use. This doesn't get everything but you won't get Montezuma's Revenge either. Don't exactly know how to convert all this, an algebraic equation would help.
