How can i get my room back?

Question:3 people live in a 2 bedroom house.
i lent my sister my room back in july
but now i want it back what should i do?

Answers:
Where did she live before? Why did you lend her your room? Who is in the other room? Is this a room mate situation or are you living with another family member?
How old are you and your sister? Did you sister move out and come home again?

With the consent of the third person, re-examine the house. Do you use the dining room regurlary or do you eat in the kitchen or living room? If you do use the dining room, can the furniture be moved into another space, like the living room or an oversized entry? Is there a large undefined space that can be closed off to give you some privacy? (My daughter and her room mate rented an open area of their apartment to a third person for the summer. They used curtains to partition the area.) Does the house have a basement? If 2 people in the house are able to have private rooms, a compromise with the other spaces is the only fair thing to accomodate the third person.

Good luck! Sisters never give anything up, until siblings get something they like more, then they take that!

come up with a reason for her to give it back to you... is she paying the same amount of rent as you... remind her that it was a loan and it is still your room... its just a matter of compromise... good luck.
