How do I fireproof polystyrene?

Question:A friend has some polystyrene lettering to be used in a bar!
Dose any one know how to fire proof it or should she start again? If so with what it would she need to use! The new material would need to be 50mm-100mm thick and lightweight!
Any ideas

Answers:
Is it possible for you to apply a Fiberglass gel coat to it? It may not make it fire proof, but it could perhaps add to the fire resistance level which is better than just polystyrene. It also should keep it fairly light

It is a major business, go to: www.foam-signs.com or research EPS sign technology for products to coat your sign everything from a polyurethane coatings to acrylic cement.
