Has anyone had trouble with Elfa shelving falling down if the screws aren't tight enough??

Question:I just recently bought an Elfa shelf unit that I am using as a desk. I doubt my ability to screw in screws and I am wondering if anyone has ever had problems with their units because they didn't make them tight enough.

Everything looks great so far, just a little apprehensive about all the stuff I have on it coming crashing down because I didn't turn the screwdriver another time around.

Answers:
It will be unstable, Take a drill with a smaller drill bit than the screw and drill a pilot hole first. Then the screw will go in easier. Borrow a drill from a neighbor

Ikea stuff is so cheap
Not knowing the dimensions or the exact unit maybe I can't give you a good answer, but, I used the Elfa shelving in my garage to hold various items that I thought were well within the weight limit for them to hold. They were installed properly using the pilot hole method as previously mentioned and seemed fine. One night a squirrel or cat made its way onto the top of three and it gave up the ghost, all three crashing down creating a mess of broken glass, miracle grow and various other garden supplies. If the shelf you speak of is anchored to the wall and using legs for the front edge support, probably OK. If it is cantilevered to the wall with the angle brackets attached back to the wall, I would be very careful as mine bent like cheap coat hangers.
