Anyone know anything about evaporative coolers (swamp coolers)?
Question:I just moved into a new place. It came with a swamp cooler that's sitting in a shed outside. I know the basic idea of how a swamp cooler is supposed to work, but I have no idea how to install one. Can anyone either tell me how to set this thing up or give me a link with instructions on how to set one up? Does it need to be attached to a water supply? Thanks in advance for any help.

If its setting in a shed and mounted in the window with the water connected from under the house, whats the question?
If the cooler is sitting in a shed outside it probably is broken anyway but yes you do need a water supply. Go to a home improvement store and they can give you all kinds of information on these.
