I saw a bit of a show with Martha Stewart and a friend who put together a platform bed. How do I do that?

Question:A step-by-step instruction would be nice. They used regular plywood, I think. Metal pegs with black plastic caps...

Answers:
Search out Martha Stewart's website. She'll have past shows listed by date and theme. Good luck, she makes the impossible look easy !

All you really need is a 4 sided box with some interior "beams" for added support. The height/length/width of your bed will determine the size of the pieces of wood. Glue them together with wood glue then screw together with basic wood screws, then paint! If you need to protect hard wood floors from the rough edge of the wood, glue strips of felt onto the edge. It'll protect the floors, but you won't see it!
