How do you get linoleum glue off of concrete?

Question:A few years ago I put linoleum on my 12 x 20 patio floor. I have since taken it up and are now trying to remove the glue. I have tried pressure cleaning it. That works, but it will take me several full days to do the whole thing. HELP! I despartly need another way.

Answers:
you may try washing it down with muratic acid. it will clean the concrete and should let the adhesive go.

Goof Off or you can rent a rotary sander
goo gone, but it could be a little pricy for the whole floor. Try paint thinner, it should break down the glue. I`ve heard that wd40 does the same thing. You could also try alcohol, but i don`t think it will work as well. It`s a big job, good luck !
Commercial scraper and elbow grease. Hardware stores have the scraper. There is a solvent to soften the glue or just plain water and hard labor. Good luck!
an acid bath. You need good ventilation, go to a mason shop and they will tell you how to complete the project. Its not that expensive if you do it yourself.
Don't use acid! Acid will only react with the free-lime in the concrete. Use a product called BEAN-e-doo Mastic Remover, stupid name but it will save time and labor.
Go to rental shop rent a floor sander Look like big floor buffer ETC get coarse and finer sand pads . Will remove glue and clean floor for what ever you want to do.
