Would striped walls look good with checker floors in a bathroom?

Question:I am redoing my bathroom, and the colors are black and white. The floor is black and white checkers and I would like to paint stripes on the wall

Answers:
only if you are some kind of hallucinated drug

yes... i like that kind of design
It depends on the size of the checks, the size of the stripes, and your own personal aesthetic taste.
busy. My eyes don't focus well in the morning.
I'm getting dizzy. :)
Absolutely NOT!

You'll have "too much" going on, with the contrasting looks...

What do you want, a "fun show" at the circus? You dont want your guests to get dizzy, trying to cope with all that silliness...

Paint it one color and you can even "blend" something from the middle to the top, as a contrast... but, dont do stripes... sheesh :)

Normally I dont bother with what people's choices are, but this one "craved" for my attention :)

I wish you well...

If you put strips on the wall it will hide the amenities of your bathroom. Your bathroom won't really look like a bathroom. If you were to use solid colors on the wall like black on one wall and the wall across from it and white on the opposite walls it will bring out the amenities of your bathroom. When i say amenities i mean your faucets, bathtub, sink, toilet ect..
