How can I make a lamp with common household supplies? A 2 DAY Deadline?

Question:I have the connections that work, its just i need a design to hide the cables.

Answers:
I've made a hanging lamp from a colander. I've also made them from candle sticks, bottles, or just about anything. You drill a hole and run threaded tubing. This is where you want to run the wire trough. They sell it at most home stores. You can also go to craft stores and they sell lamp making kits.

Use a wine bottle or even a 2 liter soda bottle. Drill a hole in the side near the bottom of it for your wire to come out of. After you run your wire through it, you can fill it with seashells, colored sand, or even macaroni. Or put something with weight (like sand) inside and decorate the outside to hide your wiring. Good Luck
Mason jars; coloners; metal cheese graters; Old metal wash tubs; (for very big lamps) Look at just about anything and visualize it as a lamp. Good Luck
