For tough rust stains?

Question:Recently purchased a home but the bathtub and the sink is badly stained with old water stains which is a good way to remove them with out damaging them. Their not that old and right now dont have enough money to replace them anyone have any ideas.

Answers:
CLR would be your best bet. It removes mineral deposits and rust with little effort and no damage to the fixture. You can find it at most grocery and discount stores.

Try some Muratic Acid. They use it for swimming pools. I have removed rust stains from sidewalks with it.
How about some paint.
Try Naval Jelly
I agree with eskie, that CLR should work very well to remove most rust stains. If you still have some tough stains after using CLR, you could use a steamer. You can find a good steamer at any hardware store, lowes or home depot. The hot steam concentrated into a very small area works very well at getting into any pores that might be opened.

Good Luck
you can use sand paper 300 or 400 with water sanded smooth to clean
