What materials do I need to wash & clean a car?

Question:What materials do I need to wash ANY brand or type of car old or new and also do a thorough cleaning inside and out?

Answers:
Windex for the Windows
Amarol for Tires and Panelling inside
Shamee's and Towels
Wax and Car Wash

Or you could buy those little Mr. Clean kits from Sears.

Outside.. just get a sponge, soap, and water. There is no complicated part to it.

Inside.. I've found armor all wipes to be the best for the dash/leather/ type parts.
Interior.
Vacuum carpets, headliner, dash, and seats. If carpet is dirty, you might want to shampoo it. If seats are leather, you will want to use a leather cleaner and conditioner. I also recommend a pretectant product on dash and plastic trim. Make sure you wash the inside of windows when you are all done cleaning.

Exterior.
Wash with warm water using car wash soap and a wash mitt or soft wash brush. Start at top and work your way down. Be sure to rinse frequently. If You have bugs on front or tar around wheel wells, you will need products to remove them. I also suggest that you might need a wheel cleaner depending on your wheels. When you are done washing, dry using a California Water Blade and microfiber towel.

Once the vehicle is clean and dry, you will want to wash and dry the windows and windshield.

I personally like the products sold by Mothers and Duragloss. Both are high quality at a fair price. I have discovered that price does not equate to quality when you get to the expensive car care products.

When you are all done, a good coat of car wax on the paint and PPG Aquapel on the windshield will finish things off.
When your going to do a thorough cleaning and I mean which gets it close too immaculate depending on how the car or truck is and what kind of dirt on it are we talking about.

I would use Tide Bleach in a bucket and wash the doors inside and out trim and all. Lift the trunk lid up and get around the edges real good. Tide and blach mixed strong will eat away dirt and grime and with a little effort from you the results will be wonderful.

On the hard stain areas I would use pure bleach to get those stains out.

Now on the inside of the car. get you a five gallon bucket.
Fill it up with Hot water from your house about half way.
Pour bleach and Tide in there as well.

Then get you a wash rag from the shower that you use to wash your body with,.

Go to your local Goo Goo Car Wash do it your self outlet.

Drive your car or truck and vacume it out comlpletely and I mean vacume it good.

Then go the spray washer, drive in there and open all your doors. Don;t hit the nozzle sprayer because it will power up all the dirt inside your car or truck everywhere and we don't want water all over your stereo seats and dash. All we want to do is wet it down inside the car on your carpet. I mean soak it down wet like a flood.

Then when you got the back and front soaked in good.
Take your bucket and start washing your carpet. It will be like the Mississippi flood.lol, but don't worry. We're going to get that baby cleaner than it ever was.

After you shampoo that baby good on both sides in the front do the back as well. Make sure you get down on it because we want to do this once not twice so get all out the first time.

Then after you have completely washed the inside of your car or truck.
Back it up or drive it the nearest Vac there and put your $1.00 in or coins and suck out all that water and suds.
You can suck all of it out with one shot.

Then drive back home and get a place where it is sunny and leave the doors open . All of them let it dry out.

When it dry's you will be surprise how clean and pretty it looks.

I have made hundreds of dollars doing this for people. They leave me the car and I give it back to them in the evening and they are just shocked how beautiful it looks. The Tide Bleach is a must to get the stains out and odors not to mention grime and dirt form all the years of use.

I have had no complaints yet.

This kind of cleaning inside of a car or truck is not normally done in this manner, but I have found out that it won't hurt nothing, but it sure gets the job done.

Nobody has ever done that. I mean you actually take a water hose and wash out your inside of the carpet literally. This is why I say do it at the Car Wash so that after your done giving it the super clean job, you just simply and easily suck all that water out into that Vac.

Trust me!! You will be impressed and it will not ruin your carpet. It onlly cleans it. So make sure you suck it all out good and the job will done succesfully.
Soap, cleaners, rags, sponges and a chamois.
Exterior , water and bucket with sponge ( lg ) use a bottle of wash and wax combo .Towels to dry and buff dry .
Interior vacum and maybe resolve carpet cleaner
use armour all to polish dash .
