First, is the c.o. 3" or more, 2nd is it on the stack or in the floor? If on the stack it needs to be 4" or less off the floor for a back flush toilet. If in the floor you may find a compression closet flange to fit. Should be no more than 5' from a vent or main. Good luck..
Depends-If the clean out plug is large enough and does not interrupt any other plumbing fixture, then it would be o k. You will need to install a vent for the toilet to operate properly. This is usually a minimum of a 2 inch pipe for the vent. If not sure contact a license plumber.
no ... the clean out usually has a " Y " shaped adaptor/connection to guide a snake either towards the house or towards the main.the poop would know which way to go...
dig & cut in a sweep 90 - 90 degree fitting to join the sewer main
Yes you usually can. Its best to make it removable so you can still use it as a clean out. Otherwise extend it and you can still have a clean out plug on the end. I have added toilets to clean out ends with no problems. I don't know if it will pass plumbing inspection however.
Check out Sani-flo systems. You can put a toilet anywhere, without breaking concrete, and all you will have is a 3/4" drain, and a 1" vent pipe. They use a macerating toilet, or grinder pump, to evacuate the waste. The toilet and pump are about $750. I hope this helps!
