Prevent water from seaping thru paper mache flower vase?

Question:I have a paper mache built flower vase. Is their a water repellent other than epoxy that I can paint on the bottom of the paper mache vase that when the vase is filled with water the water wion't leak out. Thanks

Answers:
Pour melted candle wax in it and swirl vase so wax coats entire inside.

Line the inside of the vase with plastic.
You could try a Polyeurethane spray.

I'm assuming however that anything you use, especially on the exterior might damage or weaken the piece and/or any design on it.

Certainly for the interior the wax and plastic liner are valid suggestions. I guess I'd have to wonder why not just use it as a decorative piece with quality silk flowers?
Dumbass, paper mache is not waterproof. Use artificial flowers. BTW, it's THERE not their.
