What size wire, weather-head, and conduit do I nee?

Question:I'm upgrading from a 60A to a 200A distribution box. What guage wire and what size weatherhead is required?

Answers:
2/0 copper or 4/0 aluminum. 2" riser and weatherhead.

NEC allows this downsize for a residential service.

Wow. That is not something you shoudl be doing yourself unless you are a qualified electrician. Running a couple of circuits is one thing, but installing an electrical circuit breaker box is a whole different animal. If you make a mistake running a circuit, the power flow is limited to that line. If you run a new circuit breaker box, you are messing with power which will kill you before you have time to say "Holy Sh-t". My advice --- do not do it.
