I need to remove my window alarm system how should i go about this?

Question:Yeah, i need to do it discretly. Any suggestions? please answer asap

Answers:
It depends on the type of sensor you have. You could also have a shock alarm sensor on there, where if the glass was broken, it would trip the alarm. You could have the magnetic reed switches that use a magnet to hold the contacts closed when shut.

Since you need to do this discretely, I assume you are trying to sneak out of the house, or sneak someone in, but that's your business. Some of these alarms are monitored and if you trip the alarm they may call the police and send them to your house.

Without us knowing the type of switches you have, we can only guess how to defeat them. Good luck, be careful

Just take a piece of metal @ put it across the contacts of the window element so the alarm wont go off when you raise the window .
Most window alarm switches consist of a set of contacts that open or close your two wires going in and a magnet to hold the contacts closed. When you open the window the magnet is moved from the contacts and the switch opens setting of the alarm. You should use another magnet to take the place of the one on the window as you open the window. Another way would be to short out the wires leading in to the contact box but there maybe a resistance value that you need to meet for the control panel so that would be risky. Don't jump.
