How to color house carpet?
Question:I want to do this myself. Please can someone help me and tell me how to do it. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

Chuck's right, its not worth it. Its very messy and takes a while. Not to mention the drying time. Its easier and better to just get new carpet. Carpet dye is used for when you have a stain that wont come out no matter how many times you rent rug doctor and get the pro's to come steam clean it.
You can buy the carpet dye at a hardware store and the complete instructions will come with it, It's messy and time consuming and after word the results are not that good so I wouldn't suggest it but if you insist, good luck
years ago, I remember coming across a company that would dye carpet... It is not something that i would attempt to do myself. (and I am pretty brave with DYI)
Years ago I remember seeing a white poodle walking around with a green butt. They had a professional do the carpet. I think you'r asking for trouble.
