Question about concrete foundation ( Pressure ) PLEASE HELP?
Question:A load of 12 tonnes is applied through a steel column onto a reinforced square concrete pad foundation. If the bearing capacity of the soil is 120KN/M2 and a factor of safety of 3 is to be applied, determine the size of the pad required and comment on your answer

I can only give you this type of reference as you did not specify the concrete density for this application or the type of reinforcement such as diameter of rebar intended. Also is the concrete air in-trained and what type? What is the aggregate size?
you should not ask this kind of question under DIY. a lot of consideration is to be considered. concrete mats are designed on different shapes, thickness etc. depending on the situation of your neighboring columns or structures.
if you lack one detail, the design would be impractical and may be unsafe.
review your structural design if you're an engineer
