Who makes the best Pressure Washer on the Market?
Question:Gas or Electric
Answers:
If you get electric Kratcher! I have had every pressure washer on the block and Kratcher is the best! I can't tell you how mad i was and almost gave up on pressure washers until i got a Kratcher pressure washer! As far as gas, I haven't seen anything malfunction on a gas powered pressure washer so It would be safe to go as cheap as you want on those. My buddy has a Honda pressure washer and that's the best one ive ever seen.
I would have to agree with Walt. I have a gas powered Honda...and it has been a lifesaver...
Most, if not all pressure washers are assembled with different parts by different manufacturers. What you are buying is the quality of said parts. The pump and the engine are the two most vital components of a pressure washer. Honda makes different varieties of engine so you will find them on many different washers and they vary in quality. Other engine choices include Briggs and Stratton, Robbins, and KARCHER.The pump will determine actual pressure delivered and more importantly, the reliability and durability of the PW. You get what you pay for. The cheapie you see at HD, Sam's and the likes may do what YOU need to do, but you can go through two or three of these to one of a quality units. If you are doing commercial work, buy a good quality machine and you will get your money's worth in the long run. If you are doing things around the house then the cheaper ones will probably do the trick. Gas or electric should figure into what your usage is. Gas units are usually stronger in general and don't have to rely on a good electrical connection (new construction w/ temp pole=trouble) or the location of a convenient outlet. The electric units that you buy with 1200psi will do little more than wash debris of your sidewalk, they may strip a deck, it will just take about 4-5x the amount of time. Look for at least 2000-2400psi to do any kind of heavy duty cleaning. Simpson, Mi-T-M, Graco, Pressure Pro are some of many that use good quality components.
