Home Addition?!?!?

Question:My husband and I are hoping to add on an extra bedroom/living room to our manufactured home. Does anyone have any information on what basic material I would need? Perhaps an estimated cost?
The dimensions are: 20 ft. wide x 40 length.

Answers:
If you are not experienced I would suggest this is not a DYI job. There are a lot of factors to consider including getting a permit, drawings, structural, etc. By the time you make a few mistakes and have to do things over you might wish you had hired a contractor. Most contractors will give you a free estimate. I do not know where you are located and prices vary widely by location but if you were here in California I would guess you would be looking at a cost somewhere between $120 to $200 per sq. ft.

Good Luck

i believe that the manufacturer has factory made additions for mobile homes.
