Can my shower wall tiles be painted?

Question:I bought a house and the tiles on the shower wall area are a horrible color. Can theses be painted? I dont want to redo the tile because it is in great condition?

Answers:
Glazed ceramic tile is very hard to paint, because glaze is specifically designed to be slick and resist adhesion. This is not a DIY type job. I would honestly recommend waiting awhile to see if you get used to the color. You would be surprised what you stop noticing after a few months.;-)

I wouldn't recommend it as a do-it-yourself project. There are professional services available that will paint your tiles. They can be painted with a highly specialized product that requires a good deal of skill to use.
you can epoxy them. there is a lot of prep work involved in order to get it done correctly. I would be 110% sure the sheetrock behind it isnt damaged and all the grout is in excellent condition. I would hate to put the work into doing this then have the tiles start to loosen and come off due to any of the above mentioned things.
Not that will last very long, tile is just too impervious for paint to stick. You are better off trying to cover it with shower panels.
answer is no.thanks for 2 pts
u can paint them but it will take a long time before u shower there again.(water wearing off paint)
