How do i convert feet and inches into sqaure metres?
Question:
Answers:
Firstly you have to convert feet and inch measurements to metres and centimetres and then you multiply the width by the length. For instance if the area was 2 metres long by 4 metres wide you would multiply them together and it would be 8 metres squared.
If the area has uneven length and width measurements where you are say paving around a flower bed, you add up all four side measurements and divide it by two to give you squared metres.
Here is a free measurement converter website to convert your feet and inch measurements to metres and centimetres.

Multiply the number of sq feet by .09290 to get sq meters.
(40 sq ft X .09290 = 3.716 sq meters)
You have to have square feet or square inches to get square meters. If you have the square units go to Google and type (for example) "10 square feet in square meters". Google will tell you "10 (square feet) = 0.9290304 square meters"
