Are Homemade Soaps Sanitary?

Question:I have looked into making homemade soaps and some of the recipes call for the leftover pieces of soaps from your bath. I was thinking maybe it is not such a great gift to give your friends if that is where it came from. Are there better recipes?

Answers:
You can actually buy blocks of gylcerin or soft soap to make for soaps. They sell them at your local craft store.

yeah probably if you dont get any mutations then you're probably safe
