Is it okay to paint inside when it is raining outside?

Question:My boyfriend are trying to finish up our kitchen and it is supposed to storm tonight. Are we risking ruining the paint, being that it is humid?

Answers:
As long as it is not so humid as to make the walls damp, you should be fine, it will just take a bit longer to dry. With waterbased paint, there wouldn't be much problems with that anyway. If you were using an oil-based paint, having damp walls when painting could be a real mess.

It will be fine. A humid day just means that the paint will take longer to dry. (just don't leave the windows open)
If you paint while its raining, it will take longer for the paint to dry. But, you can't always wait on the weather, so go ahead and paint, just keep in mind it may still be wet in the morning.
Paint will take longer to dry, could get a few runs, just check a touch up periodically! It's going to be a longer chore than usual!

The above answers are mostly correct, however, if you are running your AC, it will draw the humidity from the inside air and what is happening outside will have little effect.
its ok to paint, but make sure he is not holding sth iron to avoid lightening shock.
