i agree with kts im a marble tiler and i always use a cloth to wipe on and a dry one to wipe off.depending on traffic across your floor if its just a home floor itll only need resealing maybe twice a year. ps why would anyone use white grout on the floor thats just pointless.
Most sealers are designed to pour and spread with a flat mop or microfiber mop. You can find some sealers though that can be sprayed.
Why seal it? Grout in tile can be sealed, but not the tile itself. Marble generaly is highly polished, and any finish will mar the look. Most inlaid marble has very small grout lines, and hopefully yours is not white. If it is, good luck. I placed tile and marble in my home, three baths, kitchen, marble in front of the fireplace, tile in front of entryways. Always with at least dark grey grout if not dark blue, dark brown, never with white.
Using as sealer on marble with a mop, will leave a very bad haze. With any sealer, I recommend sponging it on a few feet at a time and letting it dry, the buff off with a dry cloth.Marble is a very porous stone and very much so, needs to be sealed.
