Driveway repairs?

Question:i have a pothole at the end of my asphalt driveway and dont want to replace the remaining driveway, would filling in with quikrete be my best option?

Answers:
its an aswer, you can even buy some black die to put in it.they sell it at home depot

fill it in with what your driveway is made of
You need to achieve density of the substrate. Yes, quickrete would be good & easy, but it might sink - if it does just add asphalt on top of it (repeatedly)
sakrete will match better.
Umm they sell bagged asphalt at most home supply stores.
Clean out the loose material cut nice edges (circular saw with a carbide blade, also HD or LWS about 8 bucks)
Tamp the area
fill with base rock (sand, dirt, gravel) not just straight gravel
Install new asphalt.
