Anyone know how to use the compurcarve AKA carvewright machine found at Sears?

Question:I just bought a new compucarve AKA carvewright and all I want to know how to do is to cut out wood letters I dont want them carved or anything, just cut out pretty simple you would think but i just cant get it to work. You would help keep me sane if you givve me a good answer :)

Answers:
Sears put these machines on the market before they got all the bugs out. If you type Sears compucarve in a searchbar, you will find the complaint site for these machines. Lots of hassle for $1900.00.
