How do you install a dishwasher?

Question:

Answers:
If this is a new installation, you need to prepare the space under the counter, run the drain line to the garbage disposer. (It has a knock-out plug for the DW), run a 120VAC electricity circuit (Separate from the kitchen lighting), and tap off your hot water feed to the sink. If you are replacing an existing dishwasher, shut off power and water, remove two screws that hold the braces to the underside of the counter and slide the old DW out. Note where the connections are located and rig ou the new DW in the same manner. Slide it into the cavity and adjust the leveling feet. Replace the braces that fasten it under the counter, turn on the water and power. If it works, call it done. If it doesn't call a professional to do something you overlooked.
