I bought a 4 hole kitchen faucet but only have 2 holes available. Can I convert my sink or do I neet to retur
Question:Should I return my faucet?
Answers:
Since I will assume its either cast iron, or stainless steel, you will have to have some one either replace your sink...(all it is, is an insert, and its going to cost you a good chunck of change), or take it back because it simply wont work.
Unless you "stop up" the sprayer and water pic, or what ever "extras" there are.
Most sinks have an "extra hole", that has a "plug" or cap on the side of the faucet, either left, but, mostly on the right side. If you do, then simply pry up the cap and you have your extra "hole". But, since I dont know what "extra" you have, I cant advise on that one.
My suggestion is to take it back and get the one that fits the sink if your not willing to "change out" the entire sink for an updated model.
I wish you well...

Take it back.
buy one that fits
Take a picture of the sink down to the hardware store and ask if the faucet will fit. Most of the time they will have something that will fit.
I like to buy that silicone rubber that comes in a spray can. You spray it and it turns to like rubber.
Spray this on the underside of " Your " faucet, wait a few moments and peel it off - this is the mold of your faucet that you can take to the hardware store with you - now you'll get the correct one without any questions.
