Im looking to build a swing set out of 2 inch galvanized pipe?

Question:I cant find the right pcs. for the corners that connect the pipe together in the shape of an A

Answers:
If you're not a welder, get 2 tees, 4 short nipples, 4ea. 45 degree elbows, 4 ea 22 1/2 degree elbows (if you can find 'em) but if you can't , you can still do this. Figure out how big you want this swingset and that'll give you a better idea of how long you want your pieces to be. You could even do it with 90 degree elbows(4ea.) 6 ea. tees. There is no fitting for that point of an A-frame except for side-inlet 90 degree elbows, (3-way 90's) perhaps that's what you have in mind. I would guess they're hard to find. Try Keidel pipe ftgs. on the web. They'll have 'em. Best of luck to you.

What you do is you weld the pipe onto the opposite piece.

That is the proper way to do it...

cut the top of the pipe on an angle inbetween 45 degrees to 65 degrees whatever the angle you want the support legs to be really.

place the pieces on the ground and weld. make sure you weld all around the pipes.

Welding those products is the only safe way, and welding properly. UNLESS you would like to buy premade swings and then just... assemble the product yourself?
You would need (for each end), one tee, two shoulder nipples, and two 45 degree elbows. Screw a nipple in each end of the tee. Then screw a 45 on each nipple, looking downwards. These are for the legs. The side opening of the tee is for the cross piece which holds the swings and such. Then screw the leg pieces into the 45's for legs.
You might check a local scaffolding supplier. They may have some type of swivel pipe connectors. Locally for me, Waco is our big scaffolding supplier.

Also, I once had a ladder rack made of heavy galvanized pipe [might have been 1 1/2" though] with slide-on connectors [they had set screws] and I recall there was a three sided swivel connector on it. Cannot recall who made it.

Good luck.
be sure if you end up welding it that glavanized pipe gives off poisionus fumes ! do not breath in over your work! if you do end up sick best thing is drink lots of milk !
