Shower diverter valve problems?


Question:Sometimes it pushes in easily. Other times I have to lean on it very hard, turning from R to L. How can I fix?

Answers:
You have to buy a new diverter. I think it' $23 at Lowes. Shut off your water and take off the handle. Then unscrew the diverter valve and replace. Don't forget the plumbers tape.
